Demi Lovato’s embroidered halter top gives her white Beverly Hills shopping look enough detail to rise above a standard monochrome outfit.

Demi Lovato chose an all-white street style look for a Beverly Hills shopping trip, but the outfit isn’t relying on color alone. The small blue floral motifs and decorative trim across the halter top give the pale palette a clear point of interest.

The top is the strongest part of Demi Lovato’s white street styling. Its V-neckline, narrow straps and scalloped lower edge bring a softer finish to the wide-leg pants, while the fitted shape keeps the upper half defined against all that volume below.

The trousers sit high at the waist and fall loosely through the leg. Their length creates an easy, relaxed line, though the fabric pools enough around the feet to partly hide the white thong sandals. A slightly shorter hem would’ve made the footwear feel more connected to the rest of the look.

Lovato kept the accessories compact with narrow black sunglasses and an off-white shoulder bag. The black Alo shopping bag adds a useful break in the pale palette, while Jordan Lutes’ black T-shirt, trousers, cap and boots create a full visual counterpoint beside her. That white-and-black pairing gives this celebrity street style scene more impact than either outfit would have alone.

It’s a successful summer combination with a clear hero piece and sensible accessories. The excess trouser length limits the finish, but the floral top and controlled palette earn it 6.5/10.
