Chase Sui Wonders combines a sheer lace bodice, draped shoulder panels and fluid satin trousers for a layered black premiere look with real structural depth.
Chase Sui Wonders attended the New York premiere of I Want Your Sex at Metrograph on July 30, 2026, in an all-black ensemble that avoids monochrome flatness through several distinct layers. Lace, chiffon-like draping and satin-finish trousers each respond differently to light, giving the look depth without introducing color.
The upper construction gives Chase Sui Wonders in layered premiere styling its strongest identity. A softly draped neckline sits above a skin-visible lace section through the torso, while a ruched shoulder cape extends into sheer hanging panels along the arms. The open spacing is central to the design, separating the heavier folds above from the finer lace beneath.
At the waist, pointed black panels form an irregular peplum over the trousers. Their narrow, descending shapes interrupt the horizontal line between top and pants, making the outfit read as one continuous composition rather than a conventional pair of separates.
The wide-leg trousers provide a calmer foundation. Their smooth surface and fluid fall absorb the complexity of the bodice, while black open-toe heels preserve the uninterrupted dark line. A sleek updo keeps the neckline and shoulder construction fully visible.
For a celebrity red carpet appearance, the look succeeds because every black layer has a different function: lace reveals pattern, draping creates volume, pointed panels add direction and the trousers restore length.
